Act 1 — The Dark Side
Where it all begins. The boldest roasts on earth.
Hazel didn't start in the middle. She started in the dark. Before the single origins, before the light roasts, before the tea arc — she was dark. Full dark. No sugar. This is where the journey begins.
Chapter 01 — France
French Roast
Paris. Hazel arrived with a carry-on, a fedora, and absolutely no plan. She found a café on a side street that had no English menu and no apologies about it. She pointed at something. They brought her a French Roast. Dark chocolate. Smoky. Bold. She didn't speak for ten minutes. That was the beginning.
Roast: Dark | Flavor Notes: Dark chocolate, smoky, bold | Origin: French roast style
“That was the beginning.”
Chapter 02 — Italy
Espresso Roast
Rome. She ordered an espresso standing at the bar like a local. The barista didn't even look up. She understood in that moment that espresso isn't a drink — it's a posture. Intense. Concentrated. No apologies. She ordered another.
Roast: Dark | Flavor Notes: Intense, concentrated, rich crema | Style: Espresso blend
“Espresso isn't a drink. It's a posture.”
Chapter 03 — The Blend
Beardo's Blend
Somewhere between Rome and Bali, Hazel stopped trying to pick a favorite. Some days you want origin. Some days you want balance. Some days you want something that just works, every single morning, without making you think about it. Beardo's Blend is that cup. Medium roast. Smooth. Reliable. The one she comes back to.
Roast: Medium | Flavor Notes: Smooth, balanced, reliable | Style: House blend
“The one she comes back to.”
